Rolling Stones/Big Hits UK Original LP Ver.

We have found that the disc used for the previously introduced BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS) was replaced with a real stereo disc in the 1970s without any notice. It seems that the original 1960s version used a lot of pseudo-stereo (there seems to be research that the original mono version of Aftermath in the US is a mono version of the stereo version). This was a very popular item, but for this re-release, we re-traced it and checked the click sounds to reproduce it. (The atmospheric and tasteful needle click sounds have been left in on purpose.) Of course, there are also songs that do not exist and only have mono takes, so please be aware of that. The existence of the UK Decca records from the 1970s is often forgotten, but it seems that such changes were made unexpectedly (the so-called Open Decca records from the 1970s were basically only released in stereo, and the 1st and 2nd were of course only mono).
