Description
The third performance from the 2017 “No Filter” European tour, September 16th, was recorded in Spielberg, Austria, with a high-quality audience recording. This is a high-quality sound source title that brushes up the sound source uploaded to the Internet. Perhaps the recorder forgot to press the REC button, but Sympathy for the Devil was recorded with an intro cut-in, which is unusual. However, from then on, it was recorded firmly until the very end. The sound image is stable and the whole is on, so it is a tight sound full of direct feeling without being unsatisfying, but unfortunately, there are some parts where the bass drum, cheers and chorus are cracked and peak out due to a slightly excessive input. The sound is clear, and if they had recorded it with the REC level lowered a little more, it would have been a great recording source, but it’s a waste! It’s a sound that seems to be. However, for those of us who are used to bootlegs, it’s no problem at all! It’s a sound that sounds good. It’s so good that this jagged and rough sound could be said to be the charm of this board. At the moment, this is the only recording from the Spielberg show (should be), so if things continue this way, this disc (recording) will definitely be the definitive version for this day, and in that sense, it is definitely a must-listen and must-have for fans. If a 28-disc box set of 14 performances of “No Filter” is released in the future as a European bootleg, it will be perfectly fine to have it there. Some Stones fans may be wary of the word “noisy,” but it’s a completely normal sound that you can listen to and enjoy, so please get it and enjoy it. The highlight of this day was the 7th song, She’s a Rainbow. It’s a great live take! This day was also the day when Dancing With Mr. D, which had been played for two consecutive nights, was not played, disappointing fans around the world and asking, “Is the set over?” (But they didn’t play in Zurich after that, sadly) The part where Keith gets angry (although you can’t tell his expression from the sound alone) in the confused guitar intro of Brown Sugar is also one of the highlights in a way. Please enjoy Keith’s on-the-ball guitar in Spielberg, which decorated the second weekend of “No Filter” following Hamburg, to the fullest on this album!
