Description
From the 2013 edition of “The Wall” tour, an amazing highest quality record is now available. The sound source from the Rome performance on July 28th, which is literally the “highest sound quality record of the tour” that has become a hot topic due to its unprecedented sound quality and low cheers, is now available. You might take it for granted that digital recordings these days have good sound, but it’s so well-balanced, clear, and stable, and the musical tones are recorded with such an unusual intensity that even the cheers between songs can be heard. In fact, even in the latest tour sound source, this Rome performance is the only one that can be heard faintly from a distance. Normally, when things get exciting, there are some strange voices and cheers from the annoying audience, but it is a very rare case that this recording does not have that. As if it were an official recording, there are only faint cheers, and the clapping of hands in Another Brick In The Wall Part 1 is surprisingly far away (this is an 8/11 Copenhagen recording that was recorded with extremely high sound quality and I was impressed) However, if you compare it with this Rome performance, you can see the weaknesses in the sound, so it is still an excellent recording.) Following Taper’s comment, “Probably, there won’t be another great show like this in the rest of my life. I’m speechless.” Regarding the recording, “An unbelievable audience recording that sounds like a soundboard,” and “A 10-meter-long recording near the stage.” It says, “Recorded from a place with no one around” (what on earth is that?), but you can certainly imagine that it was recorded from an unusual position. As you might imagine, the loud parts are recorded with great sound, but for example, the closeness of the acoustic guitar sound that can be heard in The Ballad of Jean Charles de Menezes is amazing, and in fact, it is unprecedented. It’s the sound of an experience (Hey You too…the quality of this sound is extraordinary). The fact that it includes 15 minutes of Intermission Break’s SE (in high quality) is also an excellent document. This day is Roger’s second Italian performance on his 2013 tour, following the Padua performance on July 26th, and in front of Mother, he speaks to the audience in fluent Italian. The performance is nothing short of spectacular, and you can hear truly iron-clad ensemble play. Roger’s energetic vocals also approach the listener with a different level of power. Dave Kilminster’s lead guitar, which can be heard in various places, is truly moving when you hear it with this sound. (What can I say, it was recorded with a very delicate sound even though it had a great sound pressure.) The only technical mistake was Nobody Home, where the song didn’t come in at first, and I guess he was upset about this, and Roger’s song. However, the first half becomes unstable. However, this is the only trouble in the whole, so you can listen to this wonderful show and recording with peace of mind. This is a special album that fans who think “Roger’s wall sound source is enough” should listen to it. Although it is natural that it is the best sound source of this year, this album is one that stands at the top of the wall tour sound source that has been continuing since 2010, and if you are a self-proclaimed Roger & Floyd fan, this 2013 Rome I think it would be better to listen to the performance sound source anyway.
