While rumors are circulating that The Who will be on hiatus in 2024, Roger will begin a solo tour on his own. The first day of the North American tour, June 10th, was a full recording of the performance in Glenside, Pennsylvania, in a high-quality audience shot, lasting 1 hour and 49 minutes. This is a single camera that captures Roger on stage from the front and at an extra-large angle, with no obstacles and a stable image from start to finish. The band members are basically the members of the Who’s recent band, such as Pete’s younger brother Simon, chorus member Billy Nichols, and violinist Katie Jacobi, and the repertoire is the same as the solo live in 2022, with many solo songs as well as Who numbers. In addition, this time, when they started playing CCR’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” at the end, it was of course the most exciting part of the day, and the performance ended with that momentum.
