“NET WT. VERY HEAVY (8.5 Pecks Of Recycled Asparagus And Brocolli Organically Chewed)” is one of the great LPs that capture the Faces’ 1971 US tour. It was recorded in a mono audience recording with good sound quality, and later TMOQ even released a copy under the name “PERFORMANCE”. The sound image is large and the sound quality is very powerful, and it perfectly captures the passionate performance of Rod and the Faces as they put on a wild performance to achieve success in the US. It is no wonder that TMOQ released a copy with such good sound quality. Needless to say, Rod also sings wildly, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for a 1971 Aud, so his singing, as if he is confronting the band’s unrestrained performance, is captured in an exquisite balance.
