Description
This year’s “BLUESFEST LONDON” features great singers side by side. The best original recording vacuum-packed from the scene is now available. This work was recorded at “O2 Arena on October 26, 2018”. This is a scene from the annual music festival “BLUESFEST”. This is the fourth year the event has been held at the O2 Arena, and this year is the largest. Eleven bands/artists participated over four days from October 25th to 28th. Amongst a great lineup of performers such as John Fogerty, Steve Miller, and Robert Cray, the three groups that performed on the second day, “October 26th,” were Colin MacLeod, Van Morrison, and Robert Plant. . This work is a 4-disc set of the best audience recordings that completely includes Morrison and Plant’s full stage. The biggest point of this work is that you can witness the “now” of the two greats, but the sound quality that conveys the scene is also excellent. This is the original master of this work that was given to us by the recording artist himself, but the recording artist is a master living in the UK. It is a taper that is well known at our store as a “British master.” It is known for its uniqueness that combines a warm atmosphere with a modern clarity, and this work has a wonderful taste. I’m not saying that there is no sense of distance, but the singing voice that reaches straight and clear is a lot of feedback to the core. The slight acoustics of the venue are also a strength rather than a drawback, allowing you to hear every single word of the lyrics and making the vocalizations more glossy. Moreover, the stability of the sound that penetrates the two’s full stage 4-disc set is exquisite. Not only is there no noise, but there is no distortion at peak times or sound fluctuations that make you confused about the direction of the microphone, and it is simply beautiful and draws over 3 hours. The sound is also perfect for Ryoyu’s music. On the one hand, Morrison included a large amount of covers of R&B, soul, and standards, while on the other hand, Plant performed a show that repainted ZEP numbers and blues covers with a unique world view. In both cases, the mood created by the performance is important, and the relationship between the ensemble and the singing voice is especially important. The sound of this work beautifully colors the mood, and the vocals stand out. It conveys Morrison’s singing voice, which lithely intertwines with the ensemble, even more deeply, and vividly expresses Plant’s free-spiritedness that breaks through the ensemble. This delicious atmosphere can only be experienced because it is an audience recording, and at the same time you can enjoy the subtleties of the singing voice only if it is made by a master craftsman. Balances the ease of listening typical of modern recordings with the elegance of vintage recordings. This is a masterpiece that truly stands out as a masterpiece of the British master. And the great two men who sing in such a sound world. This is the final show for both of their 2018 schedules, Morrison’s 48th show of the year, and Plant’s 62nd show. The feeling of being at home after traveling around the world and returning to the UK was wonderful, and the generous schedule meant that tour fatigue was minimal. You can enjoy plenty of relaxed singing voices that make you feel as if you are having a conversation with an ensemble that has mastered it to the point where you can almost feel it breathing. Van Morrison and Robert Plant can be said to be the history of British rock. This is a 4-disc set that lets you enjoy the best sound of the British festivals that the two of them performed side by side. After more than 50 years of career, the two have reached their current state. Please enjoy the sound of Britain’s leading masters.
