This album features some of the most powerful members of Los Angeles on the West Coast, including Robben Ford, Russell Ferrante (keyboardist for the Yellow Jackets), Vinnie Calyuta (first call drummer who shocked the world with Frank Zappa’s band, and who is currently active in the Jeff Beck Group and Herbie Hancock’s band), and technician Roscoe Beck, who has supported Robben and Eric Johnson and is also the founder of the popular Fender five-string bass model “Roscoe Beck” that is used by a variety of musicians. Vinnie had a staff record a 70-minute live performance at the Baked Potato in California, their hometown, in January 1984.
