The band continued to be active in 2017, releasing two sequels to “ACOUSTIC CLASSICS”, “CLASSICS II” and “RARITIES”, and performing together at Fairport’s 50th anniversary concert. This DVD contains a complete recording of the Guildford performance on October 12th from the UK tour accompanying the release of “ACOUSTIC RARITIES” from a high-quality audience master, spanning 110 minutes. And like the unplugged live shows accompanying “CLASSICS II” and “RARITIES,” the acoustic show is quite different from the official “ACOUSTIC CLASSICS” series, and includes songs from “CLASSICS II” such as “Gethsemane,” “The Ghost Of You Walks,” “Crazy Man Michael,” and “Meet On The Ledge,” as well as “They Tore The Hippodrome Down” from “RARITIES,” “Push and Shove” (played for the first time in 27 years), as well as more recent songs such as “Beatnik Walking” and “Uninhabited Man,” and “Right From Wrong,” which was only performed for the first time in 2017.
