Return to Forever/Netherlands 1974

This is a soundboard recording of Return to Forever’s 1974 Roermond concert. A new master with pitch correction by an overseas collector has been used, and the label’s own remastering has been used to reduce noise and adjust the sound pressure. The bass was a little too strong, but that was fixed. The DJ’s talk has also been neatly cut and edited. There are quite a few live recordings from 1974, but most of them are from after Al Di Meola had taken over as guitarist, so it is rare to be able to hear Bill Connors’ guitar in such excellent sound quality.Recorded Live at Theater De Oranjerie, Roermond, NL, March 24, 1974 EXCELLENT Soundboard Recording // 57 min 1.
