Description

From the US tour accompanying the release of “One Hot Minute” in 1996, the live performance at the Sports Arena in San Diego on April 16th was recorded as a complete recording of the heated stage with the soundboard sound source from the broadcast master. First of all, it should be noted that in 1992, Dave Navarro, formerly of Jane’s Addiction, joined in place of John Frusciante, who suddenly left the band, and released the same album in 1995, but ended up staying with the band for 6 years before releasing the album. As they were only active with one album and a live tour, there were almost no sound sources in circulation at that time, so this full soundboard live is a valuable item. The set also includes 8 out of 14 songs from the same album, including the singles “Warped” and “Coffee Shop,” the hidden gem ballad “My Friends,” and the album’s free acoustic bass singing number. However, the live show was full of songs that are rarely played after this, such as “Pea”, which had a hardcore twist in the second half, and “Deep Kick”, which had lyrics about the band’s history. A must-listen item for fans, including the deep, funk-tinged guitar sound. 01. Give It Away / 02. Suck My Kiss / 03. Warped / 04. Walkabout / 05. Backwoods / 06. My Friends / 07. Higher Ground / 08.
