Description
From the first Japan tour after Joe Lynn Turner participated in 1981 with “Difficult To Cure”, the second day of the Osaka Festival Hall performance, August 21st, is completely recorded in excellent high sound quality! There are two sound sources for this day’s take, “Missing Link” and the better “Craze!”, but this board directly uses the master cassette of the recorder used in the latter. Compared to the previously released version, it is recorded with a deeper, non-equalized natural sound quality, and the pitch, which was earlier on the previously released version, is also recorded accurately. Unlike the explosive sounds of the past, the well-balanced, natural, calm and neat sound image will please many enthusiasts. The best document of 1981 Rainbow revived with clear and powerful sound quality. Every time, Richie plays wonderfully in Osaka, but on this day too, he plays a deep, speedy and calm wonderful play here and there. The highlight of the first half is Catch The Rainbow, where Rich’s ever-changing long solo is a great listen. The riff of A Light In The Black also pops out, and you can listen to Richie’s best play in the heavy guitar solo from Lost In Hollywood to Difficult To Cure. In Kill The King, the powerful guitar crash explodes! Loud cheers bring excitement. The level of perfection of the concert is high, and each member, including Richie, will let you listen to their best play. The sound quality and performance content are truly wonderful, and it is a high-quality piece that many Richie & Rainbow fans would like to hear. Also included is the ending S.E. “Maybe Next Time” that echoed through the venue after the performance. It is definitely a very excellent title representing the 1981 Japan tour.
