Description
In 2016, it was finally announced that he would perform live as Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, and while it was attracting a lot of attention, from the US tour accompanying the release of “STRANGER IN US ALL” in 1997, the first performance at Massillon, Ohio, on February 27th, was the first of its kind at the time. Complete recording from the original audience source created from the master provided by a good recording person. The live performance opened with “Over The Rainbow” as usual, but on this day there was a turbulent start with Dougie starting the song incorrectly with “Spotlight Kid”, but after that the show featured the familiar “Black Night” and traditional songs. The set that was unique to this period, such as “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll” and the revived masterpiece “Mistreated”, is sure to attract attention. And in the encore, the lyrics were changed (to reflect the news at the time) from “Hey Joe” to “Woman From Tokyo” and then “Burn” and the end. Disc 1 : 1. Over The Rainbow 2. Spotlight Kid 3.
