Description

On October 4th, the 8th performance from the 1977 European tour, the Netherlands recorded the Hague performance with an ultra-high quality audience recording. This is a famous sound source since the analog era, but this edition contains the highest quality version that is said to have been created from the low-gen tape that has appeared in recent years. It was a performance that was originally known for its good sound, but the sound that can be heard on this edition is recorded with a super sound that can be declared to be exceptional, and will amaze fans. Surprisingly, there are no cuts at all (of course, there are no intro cuts like the analog version or fade processing of Still I’m Sad), and the sound quality is the best of the show on the 1977 European tour. You can enjoy the whole picture. Also, the pitch that was low has been adjusted just right. Richie also lets you listen to a powerful solo throughout the whole story, and Ronnie also shows off his excellent vocals. Richie’s intro to Catch The Rainbow is amazing. (Although Ronnie sometimes forgets the lyrics during the second verse) You can enjoy a truly elegant performance. Before Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll, two new members will be introduced. In the first half of the show, the bass tends to recede a little, but around here it becomes the best balance. Richie’s powerful solo and Ronnie’s powerful vocals in this song are truly amazing. After Richie’s sharp solo in Man On The Silver Moutain, there is a part where the guitar falls out (it comes back soon.) Has there ever been a take of Blues with such high-quality sound? Ronnie’s improvised singing part is also recorded with an incredibly clear sound. There are no words for the strange power of the guitar solo part of Still I’m Sad. (There is tape deterioration from 5:27 to 5:45. This is the only drawback.) What is even more amazing is Cozy’s drum solo, which is undoubtedly the best sound ever recorded, and Cozy fans are It’s worth getting the main disc just for this one song. It’s amazing, it’s the definitive edition in the true sense of the word. Rainbow’s spectacular live performance in 1977, which can be heard with super sound comparable to sound board recording, is definitely a must-listen for all fans.
