Description
From the original cassette series of Kinney recordings that received a great response in 2015, here is the title of Rainbow’s “DIFFICULT TO CURE TOUR 1981” performance from London and Hammersmith on July 27, 1981 on their home UK tour. First of all, the Kinney recording that recorded this live was the basis of the legendary analog 3LP “CAN’T HAPPEN HERE”, and while there are already analog CDs of this recording, this is the original cassette recording. The direct CD version from is on a completely different level. On this day, the last day of the UK tour in the same year, the stage was extremely turbulent, and although it started off smoothly, the monitor was not working that day, and the sound stopped for a moment during the second half of the guitar solo of “Spotlight Kid”. After the break, the performance went on and on, searching for rhythm and sound. In particular, during “I Surrender” I stopped playing for a moment, during the solo of “Man On The Silver Mountain” I started playing from the middle, and finally during “Difficult To Cure” the guitar sound completely disappeared. . The last song of the episode, “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll,” ends without being able to get through, but perhaps the equipment problem has been resolved, and from “All Night Long,” which begins with the intro of “Lazy,” he starts to clear up his frustrations. Richie explodes. The interaction with Joe in the middle was also good, and the patriotic song “Rule, Britannia!”, which is unique to a British performance, was followed by “Fire”, which was amazing, and even though the encore ended with a short version of “Since You Been Gone”, the audience was impressed. Maybe he felt sorry, or maybe he just couldn’t control his anger, but he responded to the second encore with a guitar crash on “Kill The King.” Although the sound board sound source of this live was also unearthed, this second encore has not been recorded, and the angry crash and desperate “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll” reprise are highlights unique to this work.
