Description
A complete recording of the Osaka Castle Hall performance on May 15th, the last day of Queen’s last Japan tour in 1985. The famous recording, which was released in the past under the title “LAST CONCERT IN JAPAN” and was said to be the best Queen audience recording, will be revived. Directly using the two Sony Metal-ES 90 cassette masters given to us by the recorder, we reproduce this moving concert with a more spacious and natural sound quality than the previously released version. Although Freddie is not in the best condition, the band as a whole, as it is the last day of the world tour, can enjoy an enthusiastic performance from beginning to end. In Freddie’s MC after Liar, he expressed his gratitude to the audience, noting that today is the final performance of his Japan tour, and in the MC before Brian’s Love of My Life, he announced that today is the final day of his world tour. You can hear each of them express their gratitude to the crew who supported the tour. In the piano improvisation before Killer Queen, passages from My Fairly King and March Of Black Queen pop out. In the second half, you can hear Elton John’s Saturday Night’s Allright For Fighting as the intro to Bohemian Rhapsody, and a passage from Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going in Jailhouse Rock. This recording has a cut at the end of the concert due to a defect in the recording system, but like the MP version, the concert is completely recorded by connecting the previous episodes. The trouble in the song from 4:35 to 4:52 on Radio Gaga, which has already been released, is connected very well, and the connection from 1:58 of the following I Want To Break Free is also an exquisite finish. This is Queen’s final performance in Japan, which left many unforgettable memories for Japanese fans during a total of six tours in Japan from the 1970s to the 80s.
