Description
The main event of “LIVE MAGIC” was “August 9, 1986 Knebworth Performance”. It was a memorial concert that was QUEEN’s last stage. This work is a video work that allows you to witness the entire process. This work is truly a monumental masterpiece. The key is the angle. It’s a screen shot that keeps staring at the huge screen at the scene even before the performance begins, and it’s almost like a professional shot. Of course, this was a time when handheld cameras were finally becoming popular, and the on-site screens themselves were not as beautiful as they are today. Although there is a lattice pattern that looks like it was projected onto a block wall, you can still see the full show captured by the on-site camera staff using multiple cameras. Moreover, the view is spectacular. Occasionally, the arms of the passengers in front of you may get involved, but it’s just that it’s not zero. The audience is barely visible as they only look up, and in most scenes, only Freddy’s final brave figure is visible. In fact, this video is a fully recorded audience shot that was also loved as part of “KNEBWORTH 1986”, but the audio has been further upgraded in this work. It is synchronized with another audience recording by the famous master “Crazy S.” (the recording is about 7 minutes longer than the video, so the screen goes dark in some parts), and this is really amazing. This recording is also known as the nostalgic “ELECTRIC MAGIC (Amsterdam)” for old collectors, but this work was re-digitized directly from “Crazy S.”’s original cassette and further polished by mastering. It was a transcendent sound that was said to be “one of the top five QUEEN audience recordings” from “ELECTRIC MAGIC”, but it has been sublimated to the ultimate generation & quality. Compared to the “KNEBWORTH 1986” version, the core is stronger and more glossy, making it perfect for multi-camera scenes. Thanks to the audio being turned on even more, the feeling of a professional shot has been greatly enhanced. It can be connected to a genuine official sound board…I think you can imagine the tremendous high quality just by this fact. What is truly depicted with such visual beauty and audio is QUEEN’s last show. Although it is often used on CDs, it is only a “complete version of LIVE MAGIC” and not a full show. On the other hand, this work is a complete version of the memorial show. Not just one song, but each and every move of Freddie is the “last”. Freddie stirs up the crowd with “Tutti Frutti,” then takes off his jacket and plays “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The feeling of breathing as you slowly drink a sip of water…you can experience all of that with soundboard-like sound and multi-camera footage. This is QUEEN’s last passionate performance. This is a video work that will give you the complete experience of a memorial show that cannot be achieved even with a CD. This is also a “fan’s dream” that is different from “the ideal LIVE MAGIC”. Live at Knebworth Park, Stevenage, UK 9th August 1986 AMAZING SHOT & SOUND(UPGRADE) DVD(114:22) 01. Intro 02.
