Description

A brush-up of the super famous recordings that have represented the wonderful “JAZZ TOUR”. Introducing 2 CDs that permanently preserve the highest quality ever. The super famous recording was recorded at “Montreal performance on December 1, 1978”. This is the super best Odins recording. It has long been loved for its masterpieces such as “LIVE ACHIEVEMENT” and “BEST OF MONTREAL,” and our blockbuster hit “DEFINITIVE MONTREAL 1978” is also a memorable masterpiece. The masterpiece that has become a symbol of “JAZZ TOUR” has been upgraded. Before we get to the sound we’re interested in, let’s first look at the show’s position. Let’s check out the overall picture of the world tour along with the official traditional edition “LIVE KILLERS”. 1978, October 28-December 20: North America (35 performances) ←★Here★ 1979, January 17-March 1: Europe (28 performances) ←*LIVE KILLERS April 13- May 6th: Japan (15 performances) [“LIVE KILLERS” released on June 22nd]・August 18th: SAARBRUCKEN OPEN AIR appearance This is the whole picture of “JAZZ TOUR”. While “LIVE KILLERS” was born from a European tour, this work is a live album that can be called the North American version. However, this work is not the only one that has been pressed from this “North American” leg, and there are also other masterpieces such as “DEFINITIVE CHICAGO 1978” and “DEFINITIVE VANCOUVER 1978”. Since this is a good opportunity, let’s zoom in on the “North American” leg and check the positional relationship of the best trilogy.・October 28th – November 9th (8 performances)《“JAZZ” released on November 10th》 ・November 10th – 30th (14 performances) ・December 1st: Montreal performance ←★This work★・December 3rd-6th (3 performances), December 7th “DEFINITIVE CHICAGO 1978”, December 8th-13th (3 performances), December 14th “DEFINITIVE VANCOUVER 1978”, December 16th-20th Day (4 performances)…and it looks like this. Although it is one of the earliest in the Vertex Trilogy, this recording has been upgraded many times since ancient times due to its excellent sound (just like the official masterpieces). When a master with even a slightly longer length was found, it became a hot topic, and even a young generation was welcomed with joy. The most decisive excavation was the aforementioned “DEFINITIVE MONTREAL 1978.” This is a new excavation master that appeared in 2015, and its freshness instantly overwhelms the existing groups. It was a superb sound that could only be considered to be the original master, and it was a Definitive master that was even praised as “You won’t find another one like this.” Because of its splendor, “DEFINITIVE MONTREAL 1978” was sold out and out of print while it was extremely popular, but this work is a refinement of such a master with meticulous mastering. It is a live album that raises the “Definitive” master to “Ultimate”. It seems like a play on words, but it’s not like the previous album “DEFINITIVE MONTREAL 1978” wasn’t the definitive album. That masterpiece is a pressing of the definitive master as is. On the other hand, this work has a very detailed treatment. In fact, it’s not just the sound that was originally “Definitive” that makes it “completely different!” We have thoroughly repaired the small noises and sound vibrations that you might notice with headphones. One example is the opening part. The recording volume of the original sound fluctuates to match the PA volume that pops up at the beginning of the performance, but in this work, this was carefully adjusted. Edited to sound more natural. This is just one example, but in this way, this work has been polished not to “improve the sound” but to “eliminate flaws” (however, the biggest drawback of this recording is the megaphone. (I couldn’t make a banging sound.) The masterpiece recording that became the ultimate form is still wonderful. The on-on strength with no sense of distance is comparable to a sound board, and even the snare, which tends to be sparse, has plenty of density. Guitar with clear picking nuances, great three-dimensional drums that make you feel the structure of the kit, bass that doesn’t blend together even when it overlaps with each instrument, and above all, Freddie’s singing voice. Not only a single word of the lyrics, but even the nuance contained within can be felt from zero distance. It is a famous recording that has long been said to be “one of the best recordings of all existing carriers”, and you can fully enjoy its highest peak. Normally, we should have devoted some time to the songs that were cut from LIVE KILLERS, such as “Somebody To Love,” “If You Can’t Beat Them,” “It’s Late,” and “Fat Bottomed Girls,” but for a long time, the complete Many people probably know this as it is a famous recording that has been listened to as “Version”. It is a complete version that exceeds the official traditional edition, and is the North American version. This is the highest peak live album.
