Prince & the Revolution Prince/Dream Factory 4.22.1986 Configuration

With the release of the Super Deluxe Edition of Sign of the Times, we can now recreate the first unreleased album, Dream Factory, made on April 22, 1986. All the tracks from the various mixes have been normalized and remastered to eliminate any sense of incongruity, including adjustments between the tracks. The first track is Visions, followed by Dream Factory, which is said to be the version from 5C Crystal Ball, and a short version of Nevaeh Ni Ecalp A is included before that, and this is the only configuration that has this kind of flow. It’s Wonderful Day is officially called Wonderful Day, and includes a bootleg version with Wendy and Lisa’s contributions. Side A ends with the version of Big Tall Wall made before he split with Susanna, and the only version of And That Says What that appeared on the album. Side B then includes an existing edit of Strange Relationship, which has a different arrangement from the official version of Sign of the Times. Teacher, Teacher is also remastered in 2020 with improved sound quality, and Starfish And Coffee is a bootleg version without the bell sound at the beginning, an independent version of A Place In Heaven sung by Lisa, and finally Sexual Suicide, which was on a bootleg different from the 5CD Crystal Ball version, closes the album. The songs are very different from the Dream Factory we know so far, and you will surely understand that it is a very wonderful album when you listen to it. In addition, if they had been cut as singles, four versions for recording on 12-inch are also included. This is the birth of the first configuration of Dream Factory that cannot be imagined any better. *Not included in Prince/Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition Outtakes, but the version that can be heard only in this configuration corresponds to the one with the studio name and recording date written on it.
