This 2CD set contains a complete recording of the August 22nd Stockholm performance from the 1986 Parade Tour, the final tour by Prince & The Revolution on the 1986 album Parade, recorded on a soundboard from a broadcast source. First of all, this title was previously known as a soundboard source from a local radio broadcast, but with the latest digital remastering, the original mono source has been transformed into a stereo simulation, creating a sound with a truly immersive quality. After achieving worldwide success with “Purple Rain,” he released “Around the World in a Day” and “Parade” in quick succession, and also produced the film “Under the Cherry Moon.” This period, which encapsulates His Royal Highness’s glamorous ’80s and can be said to be the peak of his career, featured the most R&B and funk-influenced performances in Prince’s live career, and the dynamic, funky performance of the original Revolution is also fantastic.
