The second album released as “Prince” in 1979 is now available as a 2-disc collector’s edition with the latest edition! The early days were filled with pop and catchy songs such as the first single hit “Wanna Be Your Lover” and “Treat Me So Bad” and later Chaka Khan’s hit “Feel for You”. A masterpiece album. This is a remixed and remastered expanded album that includes outtakes and single versions that are not included in the album. CD2 includes a complete collection of nine existing songs from “The Rebels Sessions,” an unreleased project that Prince recorded at the same time in 1979 under the name “The Rebels” rather than as a solo artist. It is an interesting session that shows the future direction of the performance, although it is unreleased, with a band formation and a more rock-like performance.
