From Prince’s Remix & Remaster Expanded Series, the 2018 remix & remaster of “Diamonds & Pearls” is now available in a Collector’s Edition, including a valuable prototype version. First of all, “Diamonds & Pearls” was released in 1991 under the name Prince & the New Generation, and as the 90s entered the turning point, the band heavily incorporated elements of hip-hop and house and recorded consecutive hit singles.
