Description

From the large-scale North American tour accompanying “Synchronicity” in 1983, the performance at the Oakland Coliseum on September 10th was recorded in full in high-quality pro-shot video for about 11 hours and 35 minutes. Although it is a leaked video with time code, the image quality is so good that there is no problem, and it is perfect. This full-length pro-shot video with time code was also released by 4Reel Productions, which has a reputation for releasing valuable and high-quality videos in the past, but this edition is a unique remastered version that compensates for its shortcomings. In addition to increasing the sound pressure and making it more powerful by raising the original low sound level while emphasizing balance, Roxanne, which was in the same chapter as Every Breath You Take seen on the previously released board, was properly divided into chapters and an original menu screen was installed. From the same tour, the official video work “Synchronicity Concert 1983” was released, but it was an incomplete edition in which the actual performance order was changed and some songs were not included. On the other hand, the main feature of this album is that it is recorded in the actual order of performance, and the multi-angle professional shots are completely recorded from the intro to the outro. In particular, it is especially valuable to be able to see the scene where they play the non-album song Murder By Numbers, which was released as the B-side of the single Every Breath You Take. In addition, Jamaica Farewell, which is rare in Can’t Stand Losing You, is inserted. In addition, Sting’s stage costume is different from the official work, and from Don’t Stand So Close To Me, he is shirtless and shows off his muscular body, making it a new video that fans cannot ignore as a representative of Police’s last world tour. As for trivia, the female backing singers who were used only on this tour, who were accents throughout the album, were Dread McDonald, who also supported Sting’s solo tour later, and Tessa Niles, who supported Eric Clapton throughout the 1990s. These two are the same as the official work, but this performance also included black singers Ray Shell and Snady Owens, making it a four-person group. Above all, it is valuable that the final completed form of the Police, known as the “lonely triangle,” is packed here in a professional shot without any omissions. This is a valuable item that we would like to recommend to rock fans in general, as well as Police fans. Please take this opportunity to specify. Original menu included.
