Pogues, Joe Strummer Pogues/TV Session 1987

The kings of Irish trad punk, the happy band that dominated the UK/Irish rock scene in the 80s and early 90s with alcohol as fuel, the Pogues, have released the oldest full live video! They also have a session with the Dubliners, and the Irish atmosphere spreads from start to finish. The biggest highlight is when Joe Strummer, the lead vocalist of the now-deceased Clash, joins in as a guest and sings two songs, “I FOUGHT THE LAW” and “LONDON CALLING”, with Irish music in the background. Shane, the leader and vocalist, is drunk from start to finish with a cigarette in hand, and performs a great performance. A must-have item for fans.
