“Alternate Versions” includes different versions and live recordings released around the world. CD1 includes 8 versions of “Shine on You Crazy Diamond”. It covers everything from complete versions that are not divided into parts like the official version to single edits and promo recordings from each country. CD2 includes different versions and live recordings of “Have a Cigar” and “Wish You Were Here”. In particular, “Wish You Were Here” includes backing tracks, a mix of the two versions, an acoustic version by Roger Waters, a collaboration with Eric Clapton, rehearsals and performances at Live 8, and a collaboration with Dave Gilmour in 2010.
