From the 1987 “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason” North American tour, the performance in Providence on October 17th is almost completely recorded from the high-quality audience master that was recently released on the web. There are some parts where the sound changes momentarily, like a change in the frequency of the radio sound source, and there are two tape change cuts, from the ending of Sorrow to the beginning of The Dogs Of War and from the ending of Money to the intro of Another Brick, but the quality is perfect for the time. The content is a standard set list for this period, and although the audience screaming around the recorder is a bit annoying, it’s better than not having to listen to “Money,” which was unpopular for its poor reggae arrangement that was performed the following year.
