Description

PINK FLOYD in 1970, who headlined the legendary festival called “European Woodstock”. The legendary recording that allows you to fully experience the famous show in professional footage has been upgraded. It will be released on 2CD with the highest peak updated sound by “GRAF ZEPPELIN”. This work is engraved with “June 28, 1970 Rotterdam performance”. It is an audience recording recorded at the legendary “KRALINGEN MUSIC FESTIVAL”. Speaking of 1970, it was the year when rock evolved greatly with the production / release of “Atom Heart Mother”. Our shop archives as many masterpieces as possible, so let’s check the position of this work while comparing it with that collection.・January 10th – February 28th: Europe #1 (18 shows) ←※LIVE AT LEEDS, etc.《March 1st: Production of “Atom Heart Mother” begins》・March 5th – 30th: Europe #2 (15 shows) ←※NUREMBERG 1970, etc.・April 9th - May 16th: North America #1 (17 shows) ←※FILLMORE WEST 1970, etc.《Tour interrupted due to equipment theft》・June 27th – July 26th: Europe #3 (7 shows) ←★Here★《July 26th: Recording of “Atom Heart Mother” finished》・August 8th – September 12th: Europe #4 (4 shows)・September 26th – October 25th: North America #2 (20 shows) ←※PEPPERLAND 1970, etc.・November 6th – December 22nd: Europe #5 (21 shows) ←※HANOVER 1970 and others This is PINK FLOYD in 1970. In the spring, the tour was interrupted by theft of equipment, but resumed about a month later. The appearance at the “KRALINGEN MUSIC FESTIVAL” in this work was the second performance of “Europe # 3”. This “Europe # 3” is basically a summer festival in Europe, and it was about three weeks before the masterpiece “HYDE PARK 1970”. This show is famous for the fact that footage was left behind, but it is only a fragment of two songs (Sun Hymn / Mystery). This work is a full audience recording that is different from that. The full version was also once released on CD by the Highland label, but this work is an upgraded version with the same recording but significantly improved. The key this time is both the source and the finish. The “1st Gene Master”, which is considered to be the best in existence, was adopted and finished with meticulous mastering by “GRAF ZEPPELIN”. In fact, the sound has been updated to the highest peak. The clarity of the previous master’s stagnation is amazing, and the reproduction of details is outstanding. The tightly tightened outline even gives the illusion that the recording position is several meters closer. Of course, it is better than the original sound of the “1st Generation” net. Even the best masters, such as vintage recordings, had some pitch fluctuations, band disturbances, and hum noise, but in this work, “GRAF ZEPPELIN” has thoroughly corrected it. “The Amazing Pudding” and “A Saucerful Of Secrets”, which were significantly out of pitch on the previous version, are also stable, and you can immerse yourself in the precious live performance of 1970 without any thought. The full show revived with such a sound is truly moving. There are many short set live performances during this period, but this work is a long one hour and 49 minutes despite appearing at a festival. It is full of repertoire that could not be heard in “HYDE PARK 1970”, and you can fully enjoy the raw energy that was trying to evolve from psyche to prog. PINK FLOYD in 1970, who were producing the historic “Atom Heart Mother” in the studio while also performing on stage. This is a live recording that allows you to experience the “live side” with 100% real sound. A cultural heritage album that is as close to the actual sound as possible with the detailed mastering of the best existing “1st Gen” and “GRAF ZEPPELIN”. Remastering notes Includes the “Klaringen Pop Festival” in the Netherlands, which was called the Woodstock of Europe! This festival has long been known for its documentary footage, and in the 1980s, videos were released, and in recent years, CD and DVD compilations were released, and Floyd recorded fragments of his performances of “Hymn to the Sun” and “Mysticism”. In addition, several LP titles have already appeared as collector’s editions in the analog era, but we will omit them because the details are unknown (the contents are probably incomplete Aud sound source recording items). In the ’90s, CDs based on the audio from the previous video were released, but this time, instead of the video audio, all the songs are recorded from the audience recording! This performance is the first appearance on the label! If we ignore the analog release mentioned above as an Aud sound source title, the ancient Highland record “STAMPING GROUND” (2CD) released in the 2000s was probably the first release with all the songs recorded, and there seems to be no subsequent releases after that, so there are surprisingly few live CD releases. This time, it is the latest remaster based on the 1st Gen sound source from the master reel, which is currently considered the best! Variable pitch correction and band correction, especially low frequency noise correction, have been made, and the clearness of quiet parts such as between songs is overwhelming compared to the previously released HL version. In addition, there is no problem with The Amazing Pudding and A Saucerful Of Secrets, which were significantly out of pitch on the HL version, on this version, and you can experience the mono Aud sound of the day with a stable texture from start to finish. A legendary audience recording that captured the whole story of the “June 28, 1970 Kralingen Festival”. Two professional shots are famous, but this work is a full recording that is different from that. This is the highest peak update board that “GRAF ZEPPELIN” has finished with the best existing “1st Gene” master. The clarity of the conventional master’s trappings is wonderful, and the reproduction of details is outstanding. The unstable pitch is stable from start to finish, and the tight contours even give the illusion that the recording position is a few meters closer. It is a two-disc set that will truly become a cultural heritage. Kralingse Bos, Rotterdam, Netherlands 28th June 1970 TRULY AMAZING/PERFECT SOUND UPGRADE Disc 1 (64:46) 1. Astronomy Domine 2.
