Description

2CD is a new masterpiece that has updated the highest peak of traditional recordings with the best master and detailed mastering. As mentioned in the commentary, there is a “second Hannover recording” for this show that is separate from the traditional recording. In fact, this other recording also has a deep connection with 2CD. So, what is recorded in this work is the same “November 27, 1970 Hannover performance” as 2CD. It is the best audience recording. It is a completely separate recording from the CD, but what are the characteristics of each? Let’s briefly summarize it here. 2CD “Recorder 1” – A long-known traditional recording – Mono – Records the whole show with a long length of over 130 minutes – Includes the legendary “Corrosion” This work “Recorder 2” – Excavated recording from the 2010s – Stereo – Short recording of about 30 minutes – Only at the end of the show, no “Corrosion” … and so on. “Recorder 2” is an excavated recording that I have introduced as part of “IN GERMANY”. However, at the time, it was thought that “Recorder 1 = Hamburg recording”, and it was misunderstood that “Recorder 2 is also Hamburg because it is the same performance as the traditional recording”. It was also mistakenly credited in “IN GERMANY”. This work is the best version of such “Recorder 2”. Just as 2CD was the highest peak update of “Recorder 1”, this work also contains the best sound ever. As with 2CD, “GRAF ZEPPELIN” polished the master released by core collector “Neonknight”. Especially big is the freshness of the “Neonknight” master. The conventional master was also newly excavated and transferred from the original source, so there is no generational difference, but the accuracy of digitization is completely different. The noise reduction of the previous version was poor, so the sense of roughness of digital processing was fully expressed, but the “Neonknight” master is very natural. Although there is some hiss, the sound absorbed by the original tape has been transferred to the digital without any loss, giving you a vivid, thick and realistic experience. As mentioned above, “Recorder 2” does not have “Corrosion”, which is the most important point of this show. The world of archives, where historical truths are uncovered through repeated excavation and research. This work is not only a great music album, but also a piece that teaches you the depth and joy of archives. Niedersachsenhalle, Hanover, Germany 27th November 1970 PERFECT SOUND (STEREO) (29:57) 01. Green Is The Colour 02. Careful With That Axe, Eugene 03. MC 04. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
