Description
After their 2018 Japan tour, they continued to perform live in various parts of Europe. On May 17th, they performed in London, England. This 117-minute recording was recorded from the original DAT master. First of all, the O2 Academy is a venue that can accommodate about 800 people, so the closed-room feeling perfectly reproduces the fantasy of a live performance. The members and set are the same as the Japanese performance, but in Japan, they performed two shows a day, so the set was a little short, but here it is a full set live for two hours, and almost all of the songs are classic numbers from the past, except for “La Danza Degli Specchi” from the new album “EMOTIONAL TATTOOS”. There are many repertoires that were not heard at the Japanese performance, such as “Harlequin” from “Chocolate Kings”, “Four Holes In The Ground” from “Resurrection of the World”, “Photos Of Ghosts” and “Il Banchetto” from “Phantom Images”, and “Dove… Quando… Pt1&2” from “Fantasy Tale”. Although Lucio Fabbri did not participate, as in Japan, Alessandro Bonetti of DEUS EX MACHINA filled in for him brilliantly, and Marco Sfogli was technical in the new songs, and exuded a sense of Italian lyricism in the representative songs, while his acoustic guitar, intertwined with Alberto Brabin, was elegant. This collector’s edition is a must-listen for fans, and is even more complete than the wonderful Japanese performance. Disc 1 : 1. Il Regno 2. Four Holes In The Ground 3. Photos Of Ghosts 4.
