Description
The live performance at Nakano Sun Plaza on February 17th by Peter, Paul & Mary, a representative group of 1960s American folk, was recorded in full in 1995 during their Japan tour with a superb level of superb audience sound. With the three members’ unchanged singing voices and talk, it is a wonderful live performance that brings back memories of that time all at once. You can experience the moving stage for about 1 hour and 55 minutes with a set list worthy of being called the best of PPM, such as “Puff”, which is widely known in Japan, “Jet Plane” which was written and composed by John Denver and reached number one in the US, Pete Seeger’s most famous anti-war song “Where Have All the Flowers Gone”, Bob Dylan’s masterpiece “Don’t Worry About That”, the worldwide hit “Blowin’ in the Wind”, the folk song “Angel’s Hammer” written by Pete Seeger and Lee Hayes, and “My Country”, which is called the second American national anthem by Woody Guthrie.
