Description
This is a nearly complete recording of the performance at Burton Hall at Cornell University in New York on October 19th, from the 1973 solo tour when his first solo work “Hitorigoto” was released, with a good audience recording for the time. Already accompanied by Mexican folk music band Ur Bamba and the gospel Jesse Dickson Singers, he was playing not only solo numbers but also bold arrangements of S&G songs, and the way he later integrated world music into his music shows his foresight at the time.
