A collection of sessions for Wings’ first album “WILD LIFE”, including the first appearance sound source. Wings was a band formed by McCartney after the Beatles disbanded. Paul himself has an extraordinary love for this era, as evidenced by the compilation of the documentary “Wingspan” two years ago. The first album as a band, which was the origin of Paul’s solo career, was “WINGS WILD LIFE”, which was recorded in a live format at the time. This is a valuable studio collection of sound sources, including outtakes, rough mixes, etc. of Wings’ first album, including the first appearance sound source. Tracks 1 to 4 are piano demos recorded at home in 1970 before the band was formed. “1882,” which is an unreleased song to this day, and the simple “DEAR FRIEND” approach with vivid sound quality. Tracks 8 to 11 are the official recording sessions for the album. Highlights include rough mixes of “MUMBO” and “I AM YOUR SINGER,” “BIP BOP,” which has the correct speed and natural Paul’s voice, and “SOME PEOPLE NEVER KNOW,” which has a long ending. From track 14 onwards, it is a home demo recorded from 1971 to 1972, and it is eye-catching that unreleased songs such as “BLACKPOOL” and “INDEED I DO” are played here as well. Early Wings records were mostly recorded live in one shot, and there were not many outtakes. Even so, it is very rare that you can listen to all the outtakes and rough mixes of the first album, including the first appearance sound source.
