Description
This is a very valuable take of the documentary program “WINGS OVER THE WORLD,” which was aired on CBS TV in the United States on March 16, 1979, and was first broadcast on “Young Music Show” in a special one-hour slot on October 13 of the same year at 4:15, about half a year after CBS TV. ・Directly digitized from the Betamax recording master at the time, this is the first time it has appeared in the collector’s world. The image quality and sound are surprisingly good, as it has been carefully stored by a maniac among maniacs! The original is 75 minutes, but it has been shortened to 60 minutes due to the program slot. It comes with Japanese subtitles unique to the broadcasting station. It is interesting to see the subtitles that appear on “Rock Show” as “News” will be announced from 5:15, and on “Hi Hi Hi” as “Bright Rural Village” will be closed. Thank you for your understanding. This take is included on the DVD of the Super Deluxe Edition of “Wings Over America” released today on May 28th, but it is the Japanese broadcast version of “WINGS OVER THE WORLD” that Paul and Beatles fans all over Japan would have been staring at in 1979. This is a must-have and must-see title for fans. Broadcast Date: 13th October 1979 (in Japan) 1. Intro 2. Jet 3. Maybe I’m Amazed 4. Live And Let Die 5. Paul arrives at an Australian airport 6.
