This is a 1975 sound source inside and outside the studio, including “ONE HAND CLAPPING” which recorded studio rehearsals for the world tour. Joe English hasn’t joined the band yet, so it feels like the culmination of the drummer Jeff Britton era. This set allows you to enjoy the Wings just before they fly out into the world. Disc 1 contains a sound source recorded separately from the video of “ONE HAND CLAPPING”. Of course it is a perfect stereo sound board and a valuable studio live performance, but its value lies in the fact that it is not just a sound source that accompanies the video, but is recorded separately from it. There are actually different takes and no noise specific to the video, making it a very excellent sound board sound source. Multiple takes of the same song were recorded as if it were a rehearsal, and even the studio scene between songs is recorded. What is surprising is that songs such as “Wild Life”, “1985” and “BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY”, which were never actually played live, were featured in the rehearsal. In particular, we have to wait until 2011 for “1985” to be performed live, but here it is a live take performed by Wings. The first half of Disc 2 contains the soundtrack of “ONE HAND CLAPPING”. The second half includes Paul’s solo rendition, commonly known as “BACKYARD TAPE,” which was recorded in the studio garden. In the end, it has not been released until now, but there is no doubt that it was recorded with the premise of some kind of announcement, such as re-recording the same song many times and Paul carefully introducing the song. You can listen to a Buddy Holly cover and a song that seems to be the prototype for “GREAT DAY”, which would later be included in “FLAMING PIE.” Disc 3 is entirely devoted to the Nashville session. The first half includes recordings at Soundship Studio in Nashville. The selection of songs for this Nashville session is very modest, including B-sides of singles, songs from Linda and Denny’s solo albums, and songs that remain unreleased, but they are unique to American deep Nashville. The atmosphere is reflected in the recording, and you can feel a different atmosphere from the British recording. The second half of Disc 3 contains a monitor mix of this Nashville session, which has hardly been recorded until now. The sound quality is not good as it is only a monitor mix, but considering that there are no studio recordings left and there are many takes that can only be heard in this monitor mix, it can be said to be a valuable recording.
