Wings’ 1979 UK tour consisted of a total of 20 performances, including the final day’s Roquestra. It is relatively small for Paul, and even if it is in the UK, where audience sound sources are difficult to come out, this tour is also a tour that is not blessed with sound sources. Until a while ago, Wembley performances and Roquestra performances were known for their high sound quality, and even though the sound quality was inferior, it was only possible to listen to performances such as Liverpool performances. Then, when the Glasgow performance was leaked with the complete soundboard recording, the dissatisfaction of the maniacs quickly disappeared, but the popularity of this tour, which centered on the song “Back To The Egg”, remains high, and new sound sources are available. It is coveted. Among them, this work includes the Brighton performance on December 2, 1979. This is a very rare performance, with only one title on the BMW label among the previously released editions. This work was created by creating a new master sound source used at the BMW label from the original tape. The natural sound image that makes use of the original material without relying on excessive equalization makes this work suitable to be the new and only definitive edition of this performance. The feature of this work is that it includes the host’s announcement, which was not included in “Last Flight”. Although it is not a musical part, it can be said that it is a recording that allows you to vividly feel the atmosphere of the concert at the time. Also, this work does not have the drop-out that was on the previously released “Arrow Through Me”, and can be heard completely for the first time. However, unfortunately, the entire concert is not included, and only two songs, “Spin It On” and “Band On The Run”, are not included. This is a defect caused by the original tape, which is why there is only one disc. The sound quality is quite good, and although it is an audience recording, the recording position is close, so it sounds like a monaural soundboard.
