Description
This is the first time the famous Wings Over America first day, Fort Worth performance, has been made into a disc from the original master cassette. The midrange is thick and clear, and the sound of Paul’s bass is so moving that it can be heard in the second row center recording. In recent years, the legendary Wings Over America tour has started to be digitized directly from the original master cassette tape of the legendary taper. The Boston performance by Hopkins, the final day of LA by Millard, and the Cincinnati performance were also uploaded to Youtube by direct drop of the master cassette, but this disc was also digitized by Mr. T (Victor) by the original taper. Mr. T also stated that The American Return of Wings was made from a traded analog cassette (still high quality sound), so I thought I would keep the disc made by the taper himself here along with the clear live photos of the day. Anyway, this is the first day of Over America, and this is the master cassette of the Fort Worth performance, which has never had a line recording even on a song-by-song basis! Not only was the sound quality excellent, but this was Wings’ first US performance, and the performance was truly “long-awaited,” with the audience’s reaction being conveyed to the microphone in the center of the second row.
