Description
In 2017, Paul McCartney’s long-awaited return to Japan took place. While his last two visits to Japan were the OUT THERE tour, this time the tour was renamed the ONE ON ONE tour and he returned to Japan. This time, four performances were scheduled, with the first day opening with the legendary Budokan performance, followed by three consecutive performances at the Tokyo Dome. This work completely records the first day, the Tokyo Dome performance on April 30, 2017. While the Budokan and Tokyo Dome performances were three cameras, this work has one more shot from the arena, and is composed of a variety of angles with a four-camera mix. The editing is done so that the viewer will not get bored, making full use of three cameras from the arena and one camera from the stands that shows the whole view. Before the show starts, the distinctive Budokan ceiling and the venue are covered with a cover version of “The End” and the lights go out. When you get excited at that moment, there is probably no other scene in your life that is as exciting and thrilling as this one. The main shots of this film are from the arena, which is a must-see. Paul’s face is close up on the screen, and there are many wonderful shots that clearly show his ever-changing expressions, his mouth as he sings, and even the sweat running down his forehead. You can even see the fingering of his right hand clearly. There are countless “Macca moments” that can be called “moe points”, and this is a must-see video work even for those who are not fans. Anyway, when you watch it through, the memories of that moment, the excitement, and the heart-throbbing moments will come back to your mind. Combined with the editing that is so good that you can watch the long concert in one go, this is the perfect DVD to relive the concert itself. It will be a memorable title that will truly recreate the concert as it was. The powerful close-up footage is a mix of footage from four cameras, and the sound is not from the microphone attached to the camera, but is synchronized with high-quality sound recorded separately. The Tokyo Dome concert on April 30, 2017 is recorded in full on video. ■Multi-video footage with a 4-camera mix. ■From super close-ups to long shots, it’s so realistic you’ll feel like you’re there at the venue on the day! ■High quality audio recorded separately TOKYO DOME, TOKYO JAPAN April 30, 2017 01.
