From “FRESHEN UP JAPAN TOUR 2018”, a complete recording of the 2nd day of the Tokyo Dome performance on November 1st with a good audience recording. This is an original master obtained directly from Taper. The recording position is A13, which is a position looking at the stage from the front right side. Since the PA is close by, I expected a direct sound, but unfortunately it was a distant sound, like it was recorded from the second floor of the stands. The sound image is small and clearly lacks power and clarity. I’m surprised at how small Paul’s MC is, but it’s still better than “LIVE AT TOKYO DOME 2018 DAY 1” recorded on the first day. However, it is still a recording by a famous taper that represents the Kanto area, and there is no doubt that they used good equipment and microphones, and because they are used to recording, the musical tone is small but firmly focused, and the sound is stable. It has a great feel and is pleasant to listen to, and in that sense it’s well worth adding to your collection. In the future, as a regular product, we are planning to release titles one after another that have twice as good sound as this one, so if you treat it as a “gift title”, I think you can enjoy it as a “good recording disc that you can listen to normally”. Considering the A block recording where enthusiastic fans gather, the cheers around the recorder are relatively small, so this can also be said to be a good point. A high-quality live recording that somehow makes you feel like you’re listening to a live album from a long time ago. Of course, no strange equalization has been applied, so if you are a listener who is tired of explosive-oriented sounds, this is definitely a sound that you will enjoy listening to.
