Description
After Paul’s performance in Japan, the next thing to look forward to is the release rush of various items (laughs). Some items can be heard early, while others boast high quality, and I think many people are looking forward to all of them. Our shop has already released “LIVE AT BUDOKAN 2017”, which has been released as an item with amazing high sound quality, and “BUDOKAN 2017”, which has been very well received due to the use of unique sound sources, but a new Budokan sound source with a different appeal will be released this week. The audience recording included in this item appeared on the Internet. The high quality of the sound is so superb that it makes you think, “What would you do if you didn’t make this into a CD?” The impact of the first sound source, which surprised maniacs around the world from its speed of appearance and shocking quality level, is finally blurred by the overwhelming high sound quality. In other words, I was reminded of the value of the first sound source that entertained us immediately after the Budokan performance ended. The release of “BUDOKAN 2017” from our own sound source perfectly captured the “dynamism of the performance” that was lacking in the first sound source. The power and clarity of the entire performance easily surpasses the first sound source, and above all, the natural and abundant power of the overall sound quality is unique to the sound source obtained independently, and it has been well received. Compared to those Budokan releases from our store, this audience recording is sure to overwhelm the listener with an even more powerful sound image. The impact of the intense bass exceeds that of “BUDOKAN 2017”. And yet, it is in a completely different dimension from the boomy recording where the bass area is too noticeable and the sound image becomes blurred. The natural extension of Abe’s cymbals is also truly wonderful. And above all, the on sound image is the best. The total quality of this sound source is so overwhelming that the first sound source, which seemed to have such high sound quality, feels like an ordinary good audience. The Budokan items that have appeared so far have a sense of distance throughout the performance, and thanks to this, the “hah” that many enthusiasts uttered in the intro of “Junior’s Farm” was often heard from a distance, but this “hah” does not roar at all in the case of this sound source. From this, it can be inferred that they have carried out recording from a considerable front position. The biggest attraction of this sound source is that the balance of the performance is so outstanding. On the other hand, the explosion of “Live And Let Die” sounds as if it were a “gunshot”, and it is a fresh point that it sounds with a different feeling from the usual explosion sound. This unique sound quality also shows how this sound source was recorded in the front area. And above all, if you listen to “I Wanna Be Your Man”, which was very moving to be performed at the Budokan, you will be able to realize the outstanding quality of this release. The best audience recording with a difference, power and clearness. So far, there have been quite a few Budokan items, but this release is a superb sound source that we can confidently recommend to those who want to play back that hot small gig with not only the close presence unique to the venue, but also the “on sound image” and “power of the performance”!
