Description
In January 1967, Paul’s solo debut album was released by Decca as the original soundtrack for the movie. Both sides contain songs labeled simply as The Family Way, totaling just under 25 minutes in length. It seems that it was released in the UK, America and Oceania. It was never reissued after that, and it seems that it was reissued as an analog version only in Australia in 1980. This time, we are using the Australian version of the reissue. It seems that in 1967, it was released in mono and stereo, but this Australian version doesn’t say which one it is, but as you’ll notice when you listen to it, it seems to have been recorded in monaural. The important songs are not just two songs, but are divided into 13 parts and contain different types of songs. Paul doesn’t seem to be participating in the performance, so it’s unclear to what extent he was involved, but it’s interesting from a musical perspective since the Beatles released it between Revolver and Sgt. Also, it seems that George Martin is in charge of the performance, so that is also interesting. This time, I added a chapter to the part where the song changes. Also, the only song in Chapter 6 was titled Love in the Open Air and was released as a single in the UK and US, so I have included that title. Of course, this is a used disc in mint condition. We hope you will enjoy the start of Paul’s solo career, which is completely different from his subsequent solo activities. Taken from the Australian LP (Decca, SKLA-4847)(24:50) 1. Track #1 2.
