Introducing the “TREASURE TROVES” series, a best collection of carefully selected sound checks and rehearsal sound sources from the many live tours Paul McCartney has conducted! Until now, these sound sources have only been officially released, except for limited TV broadcasts, radio series “OOBU JOOBU” etc., and some soundboard sound sources and IEM intercepted sound sources have been leaked for each tour. From the vast amount of sound sources that have been recorded since the 1989 world tour, which is comparable to almost all the live performances, there are mainly broadcast sound sources and soundboard sound sources, as well as songs unique to that time, unreleased songs, and rare numbers that have only been played once. Rather than chronologically, they are randomly recorded, including comparisons by generation and the fun of picking up notable songs from the track list. The fourth volume in the series, “Marvelous”, includes sound checks from various parts of the world tour from 1990 to 2002 to 2005, as well as sound checks from Budokan in 2015 to performances in Japan in 2017 and 2018. From the rehearsal of “Hello Goodbye” to rare sound checks in Mexico and Ecuador, the acoustic version performed backstage at “NEW”, and a jam performance with impromptu improvisations unique to sound checks, etc. As before, a variety of sound sources have been carefully selected, including Beatles numbers, interesting unreleased songs, and familiar rock ‘n’ roll covers, with different performances depending on the era. The latest series attracts attention from collectors as a collection of “treasure” sound sources with attractive performances that are different from usual.
