The latest release in the popular Ultimate Archive series! This is another enjoyable 2CD set, with plenty of live recordings! Of course, all 51 tracks are perfect soundboards! The rare unmastered version of THAT’S ALL RIGHT, and live performances from “MUSIC FOR MONTSERRAT” held in London on September 15, 1997, at the Cavern Club in Liverpool on December 14, 1999, and at the PETA Party Of The Century held in Hollywood on September 18, 1999, with band members David Gilmour, Mick Green, Ian Paice and Pete Wingfield! Track 20 on CD2, “HEY JUDE”, is “MUSIC FOR MONTSERRAT”, but it is a different mix version. The last three songs are studio mono mix versions. Anyway, this is the perfect track for RUN DEVIL RUN! * Album description “RUN DEVIL RUN” A rock and roll cover album created at the suggestion of his wife Linda, who died of breast cancer in 1998. In addition to covers of musicians who had a strong influence on Paul, such as Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins, it includes three new songs, “Run Devil Run,” “What It Is,” and “Try Not To Cry.” Few of the songs covered are well known as standards today, and minor songs such as the B-sides of singles were chosen, allowing us to get a glimpse of Paul’s roots. Backed by talented musicians such as Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, Mick Green, and Dave Mattacks, and Deep Purple’s Ian Paice, the album’s main appeal is the powerful performance and Paul’s powerful vocals, which seem to have been rejuvenated.
