Description
Fans know that the orchestral instrumental version of Paul’s solo album “Ram” released in 1977, “Thrillington”, was actually released anonymously by Paul himself, under the name Percy “Thrills” Thrillington. This hybrid remix and remaster version, which combines the sounds of “Thrillington” and the original version of “Ram”, is available as a 2017 overseas compilation item. This title, newly edited by an overseas collector who has been making waves in recent years with his innovative remixes and remasters, is a must-listen remix sound source album for collectors, in which Paul’s original straight vocals, combined with rich orchestration, are conveyed as a fresh sound that has never been heard before, and reborn as a new “Ram”. Although it was originally recorded after the recording of “Ram” in 1971, the project was shelved when Paul formed Wings, and later released in 1977 to increase the number of catalogs published by MPL, which was his own publishing company. It is fun to imagine what it would have sounded like if it had been recorded with an actual orchestra. Bonus features include a A and B side combined mix of “Give Ireland a Peace,” and a Twin Freaks remix of “Maybe I’m Amazed,” making this a must-have collector’s edition for fans. 01.
