This high-quality digital PCM stereo audience recording captures the outdoor performance in Hamburg from her July 2025 German tour! Patti Smith fell ill during her December 2023 Italian tour, causing her to cancel her Bologna and Venice shows. Despite concerns about her condition, she made a spectacular comeback in Brooklyn at the end of the year. Since her February 2024 New York performance, she has been touring with both the Patti Smith Group and the Patti Smith Quartet. In April 2025, she returned to Japan for the first time in nine years as part of her latest project with the contemporary sound art collective, Soundwalk Collective. This high-quality stereo audience recording captures the entire live performance from her latest tour, held at the Stadtpark Open Air in Hamburg, Germany, on July 9, 2025. Digitally transferred directly from the digital PCM master, the vocals are crisp and clear, with each part exceptionally well-balanced and deep, providing a clear sound quality.
