From the North American tour accompanying the release of “Orchestrion” in 2010, the performance in Brookville, New York on October 22nd was recorded in 1 hour and 52 minutes, with the latest digital remastering to a high-quality audience master. First of all, the album, which caused a great sensation in various fields at the time, was produced using a musical instrument performance device of his own design, just like his own instruments such as the Picasso guitar, and even at the concert, he brought this magnificent mechanical device to the live venue, and the performance in Japan that took place prior to this tour was so spectacular that it was hard to believe that he was performing alone, and it is still talked about today. And here, as with the performance in Japan, the opening three songs are performed by Metheny’s solo guitar, and the orchestrion is finally unveiled from the album’s “Expansion”, and all the songs on the album are reproduced completely live.
