Description
A 3-disc set that fans will love has been released, remastered with the highest quality sound from the 2 hour 22 minute tape broadcast by local radio station WIBA-FM of the live performance at the live house “Bunkie’s Tavern” in Madison, Wisconsin on May 28th from the 1978 American tour. This sound source was released about 15 years ago, but unfortunately it was discontinued 10 years ago due to noise caused by deterioration of the tape itself. The definitive version released this time has been professionally remastered in 24 bits, reducing the hiss and hum noise that was present throughout the entire work. In addition, the sound image of the left channel, which had low sound pressure, has been corrected to perfectly reproduce the reality of the day. This remaster has achieved a quality that is hard to believe for a sound source recorded on a cassette tape more than 40 years ago. It also seems that the fact that the live venue was a small live house in the countryside was a success. The only unfortunate thing is that the beginning and end of the early show are slightly overlapped with the live broadcast DJ’s narration, but this is common with broadcast sources. Disc 1 features the early show, and discs 2 & 3 feature the late show, resulting in a new masterpiece that is sure to please.
