From the Euro tour accompanying the release of “SPEAKING OF NOW” in 2002, the concert at Circus Krone in Munich, Germany on June 5th was recorded almost in full for 2 hours and 53 minutes, with the latest digital remastering in 2024 on a high-quality audience master. First of all, the wide dynamic range and delicate tone are beautifully reproduced, and in addition to the mastering process, the intervals between songs and Metheny’s MC are smoothly cut and edited, so it is of a quality that can be fully enjoyed as a live album. In addition, this year, a performance was held in Japan with the strongest lineup at the time, and while the official video “SPEAKING OF NOW LIVE” filmed at that time exists, fans who can only hear “Bright Size Life” and “Minuano (Six-Eight)” from “STILL LIFE (TALKING)” should check it out.
