This is a must-have video collection for fans, allowing you to fully appreciate the rich sounds of jazz guitar and acoustic bass, and the improvisation and dialogue unique to these masters. Below are the details of each disc as they were sold at the time. Disc 1 A complete 93-minute recording of a duo performance at the annual Victoria Jazz Festival held in Spain on July 15, 2009, featuring the two who have appeared together in many sessions since 1980’s “80/81,” using pro-shot footage from the TV broadcast master. Moreover, the high-definition 16:9 widescreen projection delivers a quality so high it could be an official release, perfectly recreating the transparent and ethereal performance featuring only live bass and guitar. The setlist also features seven songs from their 1997 album “MISSOURI SKY,” released under the duo’s name. Just like the album, the natural sound evokes the Missouri sky, creating nature-inspired music perfectly suited to an outdoor stage. The performance concludes with a cool and refreshing rendition of Miles Davis’s “BLUE IN GREEN” from “KIND OF BLUE,” a truly delightful ending. This must-see video for fans highlights the shared foundation they have in their music, both heavily incorporating folk/traditional elements.
