A rare live performance by Parallel Realities, a band that was formed by Jack DeJohnette, featuring Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny and Dave Holland, aka the “Big Four”! The live performance at the Vienne Jazz Festival in France on July 9th, which was suddenly broadcast this year, was released as a superb item that fans will drool over. The live performances currently available in our store include the Philadelphia performance on June 23rd, the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 10th, and the Tokyo performance on July 29th, as well as a DVD of the Stuttgart performance on July 14th. All of the items boast the highest level of sound quality, but the Vienne performance released this time was produced directly from a digital broadcast and recorded in the highest quality ever. In the midst of a sharpened tension, the band’s improvisational exchanges that convey the members’ wonderful sensitivities make this the best stage where you can truly feel that this is a “true live band”.
