After finishing their first tour in Japan, PIL released a live album of their Tokyo performance, and their single “This Is Not A Love Song” reached the 5th place in the UK charts. PIL started their European tour on October 31, 1983 with a German performance. This rare recording was recorded on December 7th at Rock City, a concert venue with a capacity of about 2000 people located in Nottingham, with a good stereo audience recording! It was digitally transferred from a low generation tape source, and was recorded with a fairly good sound quality for the time. Each part, including the vocals, is well balanced and recorded with a stable, clear, and good sound quality. In addition, the pitch and positioning deviation caused by the master have been carefully corrected. Opening with their early number “Public Image”, the set list includes the hit single “This Is Not A Love Song” and the Sex Pistols’ “Anarchy In The UK”.
