The newly excavated sound source recorded in high quality stereo audience recording of the live performance held at the Pacific Amphitheater from the 1986 US tour is now available for the first time! The tour started in May with the “Album” released in March 1986, and after the European tour, the US tour was carried out from June to July. This work is the first newly excavated sound source recorded in high quality stereo audience recording of the live performance held at the Pacific Amphitheater, a large amphitheater with a capacity of about 19,000 people located in Costa Mesa, California, on July 7, 1986, in the middle of the US tour! It has been digitally transferred directly from the newly excavated master cassette, and is recorded with very stable and clear sound quality. In addition, the bass was difficult to hear from the middle of “Banging The Door” on the master, and the sound quality became somewhat flat, but the remastering has been recorded with a well-balanced sound image without any discomfort. Unlike the “Album” which was produced only with guest musicians, the members are John McGough on guitar, Lou Edmonds on keyboards and guitar, Alan Diaz on bass, and Bruce Smith on drums. They were the main members at the time of recording “Happy?” released the following year, and Lou and Bruce have been members since the revival in 2009, so it can be said that this is the foundation of the recent P.I.L. sound.
